Getting gaijin on your device
We offer three install paths: direct Android APK download, iOS via Safari browser, and a progressive web app (PWA) for any device. Each method gives you the same account, the same payment options, and the same game library.
Installation steps
- Download: Tap the link above matching your device type.
- Install: On Android, allow unknown sources; on iOS, add to home screen via Safari share menu.
- Open and register: Create a gaijin account with your email and password.
- Verify and fund: Complete KYC (ID photo), add a payment method, and deposit.
App versus browser: what you gain
Our native app caches game data and league calendars locally, so Liga 1 and Champions League fixture lists load instantly even on weak networks. Push notifications alert you when a live market opens or when your withdrawal clears. The app also reduces certificate and SSL handshake overhead, making each bet placement 200–400ms faster than the web version. Browser mode is identical in features but relies on a fresh internet connection for every action.
Device compatibility and requirements
Android users need Android 7 (API 24) or later. iOS users need iOS 12 or later and should use Safari or the home-screen PWA for optimal performance. We test on the last three Android versions and the last two iOS versions. Older devices may experience slower load times or missing features; if you encounter issues, try the web version instead.
Common installation issues and fixes
If Android says "Unknown sources," go to Settings → Security and enable installations from unknown sources. On iOS, if the home-screen app doesn't load, clear Safari cache (Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data) and re-add from the share menu. If you get a certificate warning, update your device's OS to the latest patch; we use industry-standard SSL and certificate pinning. If the app crashes on launch, uninstall, restart your device, and reinstall. Contact support if the issue persists.
Permissions, data security, and your account
The gaijin app requests storage permission to cache game assets and your session. It never accesses your contacts, photos, or location. Your login credentials are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and stored in your device's secure keychain—not in plain text. When you register, we collect your full name, ID number, and phone for KYC verification. Your payment information is never stored locally; every deposit and withdrawal is tokenised and routed through encrypted payment gateways. If you lose or reset your device, your account remains active as long as you retain your email and password.
Mobile gaming on gaijin means one account, one balance, and one withdrawal queue—whether you're on Android, iOS, or desktop.
